I began working as an Administration Assistant for PLID only a few months after Paul started his own firm. I helped out the Office Administrator one afternoon a week for several years. Since 2015 I have been in the office a few days a week, working with the great team Paul has put together. Best part time job ever!
Martine has worked with Paul Lavoie Interior Design since 2007, following 5 years of residential design experience in the San Francisco Bay area. Martine gained invaluable experience directly assisting Paul with his client projects for 7 years prior to taking on the role of senior designer in 2014.
Martine was inspired to study design at Mount Royal University (BAID, 2001) after many years helping out with a family antique business in Saskatchewan. She draws inspiration from travel, and her love of furniture, fabric, antiques and vintage finds. Martine believes a personal environment should be crafted to reflect the lifestyle of its occupants, and she finds great satisfaction from transforming a client’s vision into reality. Martine’s projects have appeared in Western Living and Avenue magazines.
